Nutrition during the Fasting Month
Dear Slimmers
Its the time of the year again - Ramadan, the blessed fasting month. Its a month of double joy for slimmers too as most look forward to this month to help them in their weight loss targets just in time to slip into the smaller size baju kurung and festive dresses.
A note of caution though. Fasting can make you FAT! Yes, you're not reading it wrong. Fasting is an amazing vehicle for spiritual and physical health if done in the right way. However, if its done the haphazard way then the results can be quite the opposite of what is expected. Most often slimmers who dont do it right end up with double the weight twice as fast as soon as the first week of Syawal hits.
So what is the best method of fasting for total health?

APAKAH yang perlu diketahui mengenai pemakanan dan senaman dalam bulan puasa ini? Untuk mendapatkan jawapannya, sila dengar ceramah yang akan diadakan pada Sabtu ini dari 2.30 hingga 5.30 petang di bangunan tambahan Masjid Sultan. Ia akan disampaikan oleh pakar pemakanan, Cik Suria Mohd, yang akan bercakap antara lain, mengenai apa yang berlaku pada tubuh kita semasa kita berpuasa. Fat Melting Success Stories - How they did it!
Phew! How time flies again...Guess my blog has been lying here collecting dust since the last posting I did...I've been wanting to share so much, too much happening all at the speed of light, without even realising it Anggun is now into its 8th batch of Kilo Slim class of slimmers with over 400 slimmers who has gone through the program!
The journey with all my slimmers participants has been an amazing and wonderful one. Its so heartwarming to see how these faces light up when they have achieved their ideal weight. Just the other day in Mami's Asmah Laili's cooking class, my participant turned up, and showed me his tummy, proudly exclaiming, "Look, my tummy is gone and I am wearing my old smaller sized pants" The happiness is clear and most importantly, I feel such tremendous satisfaction knowing these participants have regained back their health too. Cholesterol levels have dropped significantly, diabetic clients with high blood glucose reading also have seen great normalised glucose readings, no more knee pains and joints aches complaints...Its an experience out of this world, an intrinsic motivation for me to continue this mission to spread the message of health and wellness especially amongst the Malay community who has the highest incidences of health problems.
When work becomes a passion, all is pure joy. All moments seems so satisfying that every step of the way is a step closer towards fulfilling this mission of being an agent of change to many lives.
With all these success stories, it proves that IT IS POSSIBLE to LOSE FATS, STAY SLIM FOR LIFE....How they did it, when so many of them have failed in the past. Many have tried so many ways to lose weight and struggled to maintain their weight yet failed. So what's the secret to their success?
Their success in losing 10 - 40kg mostly fats weight, is a combination of various key ingredients.
First, they have a STRONG DESIRE to want to lose weight , to look good, stay young and most importantly stay healthy. This intensity in wanting to battle the buldge, keeps them motivated and committed throughout their weight loss journey. Plus a proper, systematic guidance of how to eat to lose weight, powerful exercise techniques, and ongoing constant support are the main fat burners.
I've always reminded my participants, that weight management is all about the mind. Its more a battle of the mind over body. If you win your mind with a "I CAN" attitude then all will be possible. Its when the mind gets into the "I CANT" negative zone, that is when you have lost the game even you havent started playing.
At the end of the day, its all about THINKING SLIM to BE SLIM, take MASSIVE EFFECTIVE ACTIONS to produce the SLIM and HEALTHY body that you have always wanted...
